Amazing HD Brow Transformation!

Okay so recently I decided that I could no longer ignore my brows and that I wanted to make more of an effort with them, I normally get them waxed however after seeing people really pull off the fuller, more defined looking brows it really enticed me into investing in the HD brow treatment, and I am so glad that I did!

So here is a picture of my eyebrows prior to the HD brow treatment, I had deliberately not got them waxed for a long period of time as I wanted to grow them out a bit more. Looking back at this selfie my brows really don't do anything for my face; they are fairly light, shapeless and hair in all the wrong places, critical, but true.
I barely have any makeup on in this photo hence why I look different to the selfie below!

Here is what my eyebrows look like now, I am so pleased with them and I would recommend anyone to get HD brows done! I personally got them done at Simpsons beauty spa near Branston Hall and received amazing customer service and an exceptional transformation! It is fairly pricey at £35 but I 100% recommend it.
Look at the results! I purchased the HD brows BrowTec which is essentially a spoolie brush on one side and a soft, thin twist up pencil on the other, it is perfect for lightly filling in tiny gaps where you need to grow hair; this product really is amazing and the shade Bombshell matches my brows perfectly.

Finally the HD Brow treatment consists of 5 stages: Waxing, threading, trimming, tinting, applying makeup

My neatly refurbished eyebrows have definitely cheered me up through this very intense period of exams, that and Chad (Thanks- okay enough cringe)

I hope everything is going well for those of you sitting your exams! Good Luck.

Aspirations for 2016!

With 2016 quickly approaching i thought i would base tonight's post on my aspirations for 2016!

1. Scrapbooking- This year i want to scrapbook different memories and photos throughout the year, i think this will be fun and also sentimental to look back on in years to come. I have purchased a scrapbook and some craft stuff to go along with it from Hobby Craft I've linked the website so you can have a look. I will show you bits of my scrapbook throughout my future blog posts!

2. Do more for charities- This last year i have to admit i haven't really done my part for any charities so in 2016 i want to make sure i partake in charity events, Me and my mum are going to do the  St Barnabas 5k Colour dash in May as it looks like so much fun, and we want to help out the charity of course.

3. Go for a ride on the beach- Although i have done this on a horse in Greece when i went on holiday and it was amazing, I've always wanted to take my own horses and have a gallop along the beach.

4.Balance - In 2016 i want to try and have more of a balance between school/revision and leisure time, obviously revision is going to be very important but i also want to spend time with my family, friends, and my horses and not let revision take over my life. I am going to make a revision time table and stick to it!

5. Blog- I want to make sure i proceed to post on this blog as it's something i enjoy and will enjoy looking back on in the future!

6. Family first- This year I've found myself tied up in various things, busy doing one thing or another, and at times I've sacrificed seeing my family and friends for things that probably could have waited, so a goal for 2016 is to make sure i spend as much time as possible surrounded the by people i love!

7. Live More- I'm not saying I'm not going to have any pyjama days and lie-ins however instead of just scrolling through my social media endless amounts of times (sorry Chad) I'm going to try and be more aware and grateful of my surroundings, i want to go explore more places and look up rather than down at my phone screen, because that is the reality. Of course i will still go on my social media but i want to balance it out by going out more.

8. Get a job and save money-I've wanted another job for a long time now and I've started acting upon this now, so hopefully in 2016 i will have a Saturday job, i am going to open my own bank account and my aim is to put a certain amount of money in each month so that i don't just blow it on clothes (which i could easily do)!

9. Work out again- This isn't going to be a priority for me for 2016 as i have exams to prepare for however i love a good workout and i would love to work out a few times a week again as it helps me to wind down and relax.

10. Bake more- Being a coeliac (gluten intolerant) i find it harder to find cakes and biscuits i can eat, or they're ridiculously expensive, so my final aspiration for 2016 is to do more baking and get creative with it, i will definitely be posting some recipes on this blog!

That's all my aspirations what are yours?

Sunday Strolls and Ice cream!

Recently I have found myself so busy, caught up in revision, working, riding, sorting various things out for school and 6th form, and it has become a rarity that I get to just go out on a walk and just breath! So when Dad asked what I wanted to do today I asked if we could take the dog and go for a walk at Whisby Nature Reserve, so that's where we went!

I wore my new denim pinafore dress with a jumper underneath, along with my new boyfriend style coat and my loafers (big mistake- it was so muddy and I got blisters)  Excuse the picture quality I didn't have my camera!

We went on the second longest walk but it didn't feel long as we were chatting amongst us and just appreciating our surroundings, my brother did say "It's a bit boring walking around here though , there's nothing really to see.." and my response was "Yes but really, there is. Sometimes we just don't appreciate the little things that we are so use to." which is true in many cases! I love the railway bridge at whisby, I like how you can lean right over the railway.

Of course I made Morgan and Liam partake in a sibling selfie, I'm not really sure they wanted to but I made them haha, I am not happy that Morgan is officially taller than me now, although that isn't hard at all with me being 5ft 3.

One of the reasons I love Whisby is the lake, I find it soothing just walking around it and the sound of Ducks and Swans flapping around, is that weird? Probably.

Like I said earlier it was a big mistake wearing my loafers, it was very muddy and because they're new and still quite hard my shoes ere rubbing, so towards the end I had to walk ridiculously slow, behind the rest of my family and to make it even worse I had to keep stopping scraping mud of my shoes with leaves, trust me to pick up a prickly leaf!

Just realised I'm a bit of a poser, Whoops!

Especially towards the end of our walk when it was getting darker, the lake looked so beautiful

I really liked my outfit today, I think that the denim compliments the material and colour of my coat perfectly! You can find this pinafore (here) and it's in the sale!

After we finished our walk we sat outside and got a nice, warming hot chocolate- we kind of had to as we had bribed Liam with one the whole way round!

Then after our drinks things just got better, dad said he would take us to Daisy Made to get some ice cream, I of course got Chocolate and also Peanut Butter, both of which were delicious! You can't beat Daisy Made's Ice cream in my opinion.

It was so nice to get away from my usual surroundings and get some fresh air around my family, Whisby is definitely a favourite of mine.

What have you been doing this weekend?
